Excision just released his yearly mix series for 2013 labeled “Shambhala“. This definitely is not a mix for all ears as the mix emphasizes some of the best and dirtiest dubstep in the genre. Also excision has incorporated his collaboration group called “DESTROID” into things. This has been a huge year with tours and the collab. One thing very unique about the DESTROID tour is that is a labeled as a live performance with LIVE instruments throughout the entire show.
The group ( Excision, Downlink, and KJ Sawka) faced a huge technological issue when it came to the concept of having live instruments on stage for a bass show. Employing some of the most talented minds in the music hardware industry today, Excision and Downlink are now armed with custom-crafted MIDI-controlled “guitars” that command the DESTROID Live show from anywhere on the stage while KJ Sawka dominates the drums in a live setting.
Having already began the tour the hype is growing. It seems they were hesitant to go on a large scale tour with this as they have only chosen a small amount locations to hit along the tour, though still international. We ourselves were having a difficult time to trying to explain the concept and vision so we have an After Movie from their first performance in San Francisco.

We have quiet the remix here for you guys to enjoy.Glow Team did an official remix for Ellie Goulding with her huge sinlge “Burn.” This track is an absolute banger. Between Ellie’s soft vocal and the heavy, dirty bass this is a great dubstep remix. Best of all we have a free download for you guys.
This weekend at Electric Zoo things definitely did not turn out the way expected by concert goers. Following two deaths Saturday (Overdose) the city and promoters agreed that in best interest of the festival and grieving friends and family that the concert would not continue Sunday. However, there were still some pretty amazing sets dropped at the festival and we have them all here in one place for you to listen to.
What may be one of the best collaborations all year has been announced. Hayley Williams of Paramore has teamed up with the famous German producer Zedd for a collaboration on the new track “Stay The Night.” Hayley has branched out of her genre before and is probably best recognized, in this regard, for her work with B.O.B on “Airplanes.” The track is set to release September 10th and I personally could not be more excited to see what these two amazing artists have been cooking up. Stay tuned for the release of this track rumored to come out in just over a week!
B.o.B Ft. Hayley Williams – Airplanes:
After the terrible tragedy at Electric Zoo Saturday, Sunday’s show had been cancelled. NYC and promoters alike agreed that it was a good idea to not continue with Sunday’s show out of both respect for those who passed (due to overdose) & caution of further injuries. In hopes of saving the event some artists, Congorock, Steve Aoki, Clockwork, and 3LAU (to name a few), came together in local venues and clubs to perform there. 3LAU even went as far as recording the set he had lined up for his EZOO set and released it for a free download to the public. This set is definitely a work of art and exploded on SoundCloud and we have it for you guys to enjoy.
After some delays here it is, the Dedication 5! Lil Wayne had recently posted a public “apology” saying he would work harder even if it kills him after receiving no nominations in the VMAs or BET awards. It has been sometime since we’ve heard any standout tracks by the artist such as “Sky Is The Limit” however hopefully this is the wake up call. With talks of the Carter V and a promise to do better we’re very excited to see what Wayne has in store.
Without further ado here is the Dedication 5:
